Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments, with 100% accuracy.
- Greet all customers warmly and professionally, providing superior service and resolving inquiries efficiently.
- Open new accounts and assist existing clients with product information and account maintenance.
- Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, compliance standards, and internal security procedures (e.g., BSA/AML).
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend credit cards, loans, and investment products that meet client needs.
- Perform routine cash balancing and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Maintain a clean and organized lobby and work area to ensure a welcoming environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience in cash handling, retail sales, or customer service in the financial sector is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform mental math quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to pass a background check and a credit check.
- Proficiency in using computer terminals, ATMs, and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
