Your Role
As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of Horizon Community Bank. You will build lasting relationships with our diverse community and ensure every customer leaves satisfied with their financial transaction.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of the shift.
- Assist in maintaining the lobby environment, ensuring it is clean, organized, and welcoming.
- Identify and escalate suspicious activity or compliance issues to branch management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in retail banking or customer service preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank-specific software.
