Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while adhering to bank compliance policies.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve issues with a positive attitude.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and reconcile financial records at the end of the shift.
- Sales & Service: Identify cross-selling opportunities to recommend credit cards, savings accounts, and other financial products to meet branch goals.
- Security: Monitor surveillance cameras and follow strict security protocols to prevent fraud and theft.
- Administrative Tasks: Assist in opening new accounts, processing loan applications, and maintaining branch lobby organization.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; previous banking experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with diverse clientele.
- Computer Proficiency: Comfortable using computerized teller systems (TellerOS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Integrity: Must pass a background check and credit check; strong ethical standards and trustworthiness are essential.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
