Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash handling, check cashing, loan payments, and account deposits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account-related issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile daily cash drawers to ensure bank integrity.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to new products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Stay updated on bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous banking or cash-handling experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and operate standard office machinery (e.g., calculators, scanners).
- Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
