As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for building lasting relationships with our community and ensuring every customer leaves satisfied.
Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions, resolving complaints, and identifying client needs through active listening.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining bank products, services, and policies to prospective customers.
- Maintain accurate records of daily transactions and reconcile cash drawers with high precision.
- Identify and refer cross-selling opportunities to meet branch sales goals.
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards (e.g., BSA/AML).
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller workstation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; some college coursework in Finance or Business is preferred.
- Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
- Strong math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and some evenings.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic banking software.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
