Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions accurately, including cashing checks, handling deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with account inquiries, explaining products and services clearly.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our savings, loans, and credit card products to new and existing clients.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with bank policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment for staff and customers.
- Utilize bank software to update customer account information and resolve discrepancies.
- Adhere to strict security and compliance protocols at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; some college or banking experience is a plus.
- Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong math skills and a high level of attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer proficiency and typing skills.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary banking licenses.
