Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to meet their banking needs.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, balance inquiries, and navigating digital banking tools.
- Monitor and manage cash drawer balances to ensure 100% accuracy at the end of each shift.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for products such as credit cards, loans, and savings accounts.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and compliance regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the lobby and service area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in finance or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in cash handling, retail, or customer service is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to perform mental math quickly and accurately.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and banking software (e.g., FIS, Teller Workstation).
- Must pass a background check and pre-employment screening.
