Responsibilities
- Process a high volume of daily financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with 100% accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving account issues efficiently.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products and services to meet customers' financial needs and branch sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and reconcile daily cash drawers and reports.
- Adhere to strict regulatory compliance standards, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) protocols.
- Assist in opening new accounts and managing customer account maintenance.
- Collaborate with the branch team to ensure a welcoming and organized lobby environment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a customer service or cash-handling role is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and core banking software.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions rapidly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (box of coin rolls).
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass a background check and credit check.
