As a Bank Teller, you will be the face of our bank, responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions. We offer a competitive benefits package, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cash handling, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with customers by providing superior service and financial guidance.
- Maintain accurate cash drawers and ensure compliance with all banking regulations and internal controls.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our range of financial products and services to existing clients.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist with the opening and closing of the branch, including security procedures and vault management.
- Keep the lobby and work area organized and welcoming for all visitors.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Previous experience in a cash-handling or customer service role is highly preferred.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle complex calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software.
- A valid driver's license is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check.
