Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and assist them with a variety of banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Cash Handling: Accurately count and verify cash and non-cash transactions to ensure balances match daily reports.
- Transaction Processing: Process checks, cash checks, and handle cash orders efficiently and accurately.
- Product Promotion: Introduce customers to our suite of products, including savings accounts, checking accounts, and credit cards.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve customer inquiries and complaints professionally and in a timely manner.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain the teller line, balance the drawer at the end of the shift, and file necessary paperwork.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: No prior banking experience is necessary. We look for attitude and aptitude.
- Math Skills: Strong basic math skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer Literacy: Basic proficiency with computers and POS (Point of Sale) systems is preferred.
- Integrity: Must possess a high level of trustworthiness and a commitment to confidentiality.
