Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments with high accuracy and speed.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions at the end of the shift.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior service to build long-term relationships.
- Assist with opening new accounts and explaining banking products and services.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products to meet branch sales goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized teller line area in compliance with bank security policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance preferred.
- Previous experience as a teller or in a customer service role is a plus.
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle large amounts of cash accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer navigation.
- Must be detail-oriented, trustworthy, and able to pass a background check.
