Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments while strictly adhering to compliance and security regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide a welcoming and efficient experience for all customers, answering inquiries and resolving issues professionally.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate daily balances, reconcile the teller drawer, and ensure all cash handling procedures are followed.
- Sales Support: Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales goals.
- Account Management: Assist in opening new accounts and verifying customer identification (KYC) processes.
- Administrative Duties: Complete necessary paperwork, balance the ATM, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience as a Teller or in a customer service role within banking or retail is highly preferred.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and the ability to handle cash with zero error.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Technology: Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Integrity: Must pass a background check and possess a high level of trust and reliability.
