Responsibilities
- Greet and Assist: Welcome customers warmly and provide professional assistance with their banking needs, including account inquiries and service requests.
- Transactions: Accurately process a high volume of financial transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure strict adherence to banking regulations and internal controls.
- Customer Service: Resolve customer issues and complaints efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Product Sales: Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services, such as savings accounts and credit cards, to meet branch goals.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all transactions and customer interactions in the banking system.
- Compliance: Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business is a plus.
- Experience: Previous experience as a Teller or in customer service is preferred; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong math skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash accurately; basic computer proficiency with experience in banking software is a plus.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Reliability: Must be punctual, dependable, and able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Licenses: Must be willing to obtain and maintain any required banking licenses or certifications.
