Responsibilities:
As a Bank Teller, you will serve as the face of our branch, ensuring accurate and efficient service for every customer.
Responsibilities
- Process daily cash transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with 100% accuracy.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and educating customers on our products and services.
- Open new accounts, assist with account closures, and handle daily settlement duties and cash balancing.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote savings, CDs, and other financial products to existing clients.
- Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory compliance standards, and security procedures to ensure the safety of funds and customer data.
- Assist with branch operations, including lobby management and administrative tasks during peak hours.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; prior experience in retail banking or customer service is preferred.
- Strong cash handling skills and the ability to perform basic arithmetic with speed and precision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Proficiency in using computerized banking systems and POS terminals.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs occasionally.
- Must pass a background check, credit check, and pre-employment drug screening.
