Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional, courteous service to resolve inquiries and assist with account-related questions.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily reports with 100% accuracy to ensure financial integrity.
- Identify and cross-sell banking products, such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards, to meet customer needs and branch goals.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing required KYC (Know Your Customer) documentation.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team to achieve daily sales and service targets.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; Associate's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a high-volume customer service role is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle cash with honesty and integrity.
- Proficiency with Windows and banking software (e.g., Fiserv, Tellerware).
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and obtain necessary banking licenses.
