Responsibilities
- Execute daily financial transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing with 100% accuracy.
- Provide friendly and professional customer service to all patrons, resolving inquiries and offering solutions efficiently.
- Identify and cross-sell our range of banking products, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans, to meet client needs.
- Maintain a secure and organized teller line, ensuring the lobby is welcoming and operational.
- Comply with strict bank policies, regulatory standards (BSA/AML), and internal security protocols.
- Assist in balancing cash drawers daily and reporting any discrepancies immediately.
- Collaborate with the branch manager and team members to achieve branch sales targets and operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of cash handling experience in a retail, banking, or hospitality environment is highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Proficiency in using computerized cash registers, ATMs, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations quickly and accurately under pressure.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
