Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing.
- Provide outstanding customer service by answering inquiries and resolving account issues in a timely manner.
- Proactively identify and cross-sell banking products and services to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate daily cash balances and reconcile the teller drawer at the end of each shift.
- Assist with lobby operations, including opening and closing the bank, managing lines, and ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Follow all security and compliance protocols to safeguard bank assets and customer information.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior cash handling or banking experience is preferred.
- Strong numerical skills and the ability to perform arithmetic calculations quickly and accurately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
- Must pass a background check and a credit check.
