Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and loan payments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and addressing inquiries.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to existing and new clients.
- Balance cash drawers daily and ensure all receipts and deposits are processed correctly.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment.
- Answer phone inquiries and route messages to appropriate staff members.
- Follow all bank security and regulatory compliance procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or banking is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle cash transactions with high accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Attention to detail and a strong commitment to regulatory compliance.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
