Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Cash checks and reconcile the cash drawer daily to ensure balances match.
- Open new checking and savings accounts while explaining products and services.
- Resolve customer inquiries and complaints with patience and professionalism.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure teller line area.
- Assist with cross-selling banking products to meet sales goals.
- Ensure strict compliance with all banking regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling experience is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of money.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
