Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments while adhering to strict compliance and audit regulations.
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to every visitor, answering inquiries and resolving issues efficiently to enhance the customer experience.
- Relationship Building: Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce customers to our suite of financial products, including mortgages and investment accounts.
- Safe Operations: Maintain the safety of the vault and ATM by following all security protocols and balancing cash drawers at the end of the shift.
- Problem Resolution: Handle complex account questions and escalate matters to branch managers or supervisors when necessary.
- Team Collaboration: Support branch operations and assist in maintaining an organized, welcoming lobby environment.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; prior banking experience is preferred but not mandatory for the right candidate.
- Math Skills: Strong aptitude for arithmetic and ability to handle large sums of cash with high accuracy.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
- Reliability: Must pass a background check and drug screening; ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Technology: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn bank-specific software quickly.
