Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome customers warmly, providing a positive first impression and answering basic inquiries.
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and loan payments.
- Handle cash drawers with strict attention to detail to ensure daily balancing and reconciliation.
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch targets.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure lobby environment.
- Perform basic account maintenance tasks, such as opening new accounts or assisting with account inquiries.
- Adhere to all bank security policies and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or banking is preferred but not required (we provide training).
- Strong math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with diverse customers.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs when necessary.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Basic computer literacy and typing speed.
