Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions with accuracy and efficiency including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through personalized service and financial guidance
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to maintain operational integrity
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Adhere to all banking regulations, security protocols, and compliance standards
- Resolve customer inquiries and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Support branch operations through cash management and record-keeping duties
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cash handling or customer service experience required
- Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain financial concepts clearly
- Proficiency with basic office technology and banking software
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and occasional evenings
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and reliable transportation
