Responsibilities
- Transaction Processing: Accurately process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers for customers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high satisfaction levels.
- Cash Handling: Manage cash drawers with precision, ensuring daily reconciliation and adherence to cash control policies.
- Sales & Referrals: Identify opportunities to cross-sell our banking products and services to meet branch goals.
- Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements.
- Problem Resolution: Handle account inquiries and minor account maintenance tasks with professionalism and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience as a bank teller, cashier, or in a customer service role is preferred but not mandatory for exceptional candidates.
- Skills: Strong mathematical skills and the ability to handle cash with 100% accuracy.
- Interpersonal: Excellent verbal communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Technical: Proficiency with basic computer applications and POS systems.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as needed.
