Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions accurately, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by answering inquiries, resolving account issues, and educating customers on our products and services.
- Cross-sell bank products and services, such as debit cards, credit cards, and savings accounts, to meet branch sales goals.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily settlement reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and escalate potential security risks or suspicious activities to branch management immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming branch environment for all customers.
- Assist in opening new accounts and processing account closures as directed by management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller, Cashier, or in customer service is highly desirable.
- Strong mathematical skills with the ability to handle large sums of cash with 100% accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank software systems.
- Must pass a background check and credit check.
