Responsibilities
- Process daily financial transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing with high accuracy.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the teller window.
- Open new checking and savings accounts, and assist customers with account inquiries.
- Cross-sell bank products and services to meet branch sales targets.
- Verify the authenticity of checks and ensure compliance with bank policies and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Keep the teller line area organized and secure at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Previous experience as a Bank Teller or in a retail customer service role is preferred.
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Fraud detection awareness and adherence to compliance standards.
- Basic proficiency with Windows-based computer systems.
