Responsibilities
- Cash Handling: Accurately process cash, check, and electronic transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, ensuring all drawer balances match daily.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding products and services, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure a positive banking experience.
- Product Promotion: Proactively identify sales opportunities and introduce customers to our suite of financial products, such as CDs, IRAs, and debit cards.
- Security Compliance: Adhere to all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations to protect the bank and its clients.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, complete daily reconciliation reports, and organize the teller line for optimal efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Finance preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling and customer service experience in a financial or retail environment is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong numerical aptitude, attention to detail, and basic computer proficiency (MS Office Suite).
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch needs.
