Responsibilities
- Process Financial Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers for customers with a focus on precision and speed.
- Customer Service Excellence: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve issues efficiently to ensure high customer satisfaction.
- Cross-Selling & Sales: Identify opportunities to recommend financial products and services that align with customer needs, contributing to branch sales goals.
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all banking regulations, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and report discrepancies immediately.
- Operational Support: Assist with opening new accounts, processing checks, and maintaining the lobby area for a professional customer experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework in finance or business preferred.
- Experience: Previous cash handling or customer service experience in a retail or banking environment is highly desired.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and proficiency with basic computer applications and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse clientele.
- Integrity: Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment in financial matters.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as required by the branch schedule.
