Responsibilities
- Process customer deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments accurately and efficiently.
- Verify checks and cash for accuracy, handling foreign currency and travelers' checks as needed.
- Greet customers warmly and resolve account inquiries with patience and professionalism.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our suite of financial products and services.
- Balance cash drawers and reconcile daily transactions to ensure 100% accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment at the teller line.
- Assist with opening new accounts and completing required regulatory paperwork.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred.
- Strong basic math skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and a credit check.
- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including weekends and holidays.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and bank software systems.
