Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle daily banking transactions, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and account transfers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote bank services such as loans, credit cards, and savings accounts to meet branch goals.
- Cash Management: Maintain accurate cash drawers and balances at the end of each shift; ensure compliance with all cash handling procedures.
- Administrative Duties: Complete required paperwork accurately, including account opening forms and transaction records, in adherence to banking regulations.
- Branch Operations: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment for customers and staff.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required.
- Experience: Previous cash handling experience in a retail or banking environment is preferred but not required; on-the-job training provided.
- Skills: Strong basic math skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and point-of-sale (POS) systems.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse customer bases.
- Integrity: High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and strong ethical standards.
- Availability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by branch schedule.
