Responsibilities
- Process daily customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, with precision and speed.
- Greet customers warmly and provide professional guidance on account inquiries, products, and services.
- Ensure the accuracy of the cash drawer and reconcile daily balances against the general ledger.
- Proactively cross-sell bank products, such as credit cards and savings accounts, to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer complaints and issues efficiently, escalating complex matters to branch management when necessary.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure work environment in compliance with bank security protocols.
- Assist with teller line operations and support the branch manager with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; prior experience in banking or customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and the ability to perform accurate cash handling duties under time pressure.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, specifically Microsoft Office Suite and bank teller software.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
- Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude are essential.
