Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and loan payments with 100% accuracy
- Balance cash drawer daily and resolve discrepancies following strict audit protocols
- Identify cross-sell opportunities for banking products and services
- Maintain strict compliance with federal banking regulations and security procedures
- Assist customers with account inquiries, ATM issues, and basic problem resolution
- Support branch operations by opening new accounts and processing check orders
- Collaborate with wealth management and commercial banking teams on complex client needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cash handling experience in a financial services or retail environment
- Proven ability to maintain 100% accuracy in high-volume transaction processing
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations (Regulation CC, EFTA, BSA)
- Exceptional customer service skills with conflict resolution expertise
- Proficiency in banking software and Microsoft Office Suite
- High school diploma or equivalent; college coursework in finance preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
