Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately handle cash deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and check cashing for customers while maintaining strict adherence to bank policies.
- Customer Service: Provide superior service by greeting customers, answering inquiries regarding accounts and products, and resolving issues with a positive attitude.
- Account Management: Assist customers with opening new accounts, processing account changes, and explaining digital banking tools to enhance their experience.
- Security & Compliance: Monitor vault and ATM activity, identify and report suspicious activity, and ensure all transactions comply with federal and state regulations.
- Product Promotion: Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our credit cards, mortgages, and investment products to eligible customers.
- Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate records, balance daily cash drawers, and complete required daily reports accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED is required; some college coursework in finance or business is preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer service, retail, or banking is highly desirable; teller experience is a plus.
- Skills: Strong numerical skills with a high degree of accuracy; proficiency in basic computer applications and cash handling equipment.
- Attributes: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment.
- Licensing: Must be able to obtain and maintain any required state-specific banking licenses or certifications.
- Availability: Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays is required.
