Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments.
- Greet customers warmly and provide superior customer service to meet and exceed expectations.
- Assist customers with account inquiries, resolving issues, and explaining banking products and services.
- Maintain accurate daily balances and reconcile the cash drawer to ensure compliance with audit standards.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities to introduce new products such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards.
- Adhere to all bank policies, regulatory compliance requirements, and security protocols.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; prior banking or customer service experience is a plus.
- Strong mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and POS systems.
- Must pass a background check and credit check as required by banking regulations.
