Responsibilities
- Process Transactions: Accurately and efficiently handle a high volume of daily transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and account transfers.
- Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, answer inquiries regarding account balances and products, and resolve issues with patience and professionalism.
- Cash Handling: Maintain accurate cash drawers, balance daily transactions, and adhere to strict cash control policies and regulatory compliance standards.
- Product Sales: Identify cross-selling opportunities to promote our suite of financial products, such as savings accounts, credit cards, and loans.
- Document Preparation: Assist customers with account opening processes, completing forms, and ensuring all documentation is correct and compliant.
- Branch Support: Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and secure branch environment to ensure a positive customer experience.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Finance or Business preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service, retail, or cash handling is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong mathematical aptitude and attention to detail with the ability to work with precision under time pressure.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts simply.
- Reliability: Must be trustworthy, discreet, and able to adhere to banking regulations and security protocols.
- Technology: Proficiency in using computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is required.
