Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately, including cashing checks, processing deposits, and withdrawals.
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to resolve inquiries and issues efficiently.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities for banking products and services to meet individual financial goals.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and ensure the security of cash drawers at all times.
- Assist in opening new accounts and explaining bank policies and procedures to clients.
- Operate standard office equipment, including ATMs and teller terminals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Previous experience as a bank teller or in customer service is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and credit check.
- Basic computer literacy and proficiency with financial software.
