Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, ensuring they comply with company policies and terms.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies or billing errors promptly.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly reports regarding accounts payable status and aging.
- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments to resolve payment issues.
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or General Ledger functions.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s in Accounting preferred.
