Responsibilities
- Process and verify a high volume of invoices for accuracy and completeness before posting.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for all financial records.
- Prepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations and prepare journal entries.
- Communicate effectively with vendors to resolve payment issues and answer inquiries.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Accounts Payable or Accounts Receivable role.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to detect errors and discrepancies.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
