Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, coding, and approval before payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including issuing payments via ACH and checks.
- Respond to vendor inquiries regarding billing and payment status.
- Assist with month-end close processes and financial reporting.
- Maintain accurate vendor files and tax documentation.
- Identify opportunities to streamline AP processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
- Associate degree or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, or SAP preferred).
- Strong working knowledge of MS Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
