Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy, completeness, and authorization in compliance with company policies.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies or billing errors efficiently.
- Manage the entire accounts payable cycle, from invoice receipt to payment processing.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and assist with month-end close procedures.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) to track expenses and ensure data integrity.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or related finance roles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and AP software systems.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage high volumes of transactions.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.
