Responsibilities
- Invoice Processing: Accurately enter, verify, and code invoices into the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) for payment.
- Reconciliation: Reconcile vendor statements and investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or errors promptly.
- Aging Management: Monitor accounts payable aging reports and ensure all outstanding items are addressed according to payment terms.
- Vendor Relations: Communicate effectively with vendors regarding payment status, inquiries, and resolving payment holds.
- Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and variance analysis.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate financial records and ensure adherence to internal controls and company policies.
Qualifications
- Experience: 2+ years of proven experience in Accounts Payable or General Accounting.
- Software: Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a must).
- Education: Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration required.
- Shift Availability: Must be available to work a dedicated Night Shift schedule (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a high-volume environment.
- Soft Skills: Proactive problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills.
