Responsibilities
- Process and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies.
- Review and approve invoices in the ERP system (SAP/Oracle) within agreed-upon payment terms.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and resolve billing discrepancies or inquiries promptly.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
- Reconcile credit card statements and expense reports to ensure proper documentation.
- Prepare and distribute financial reports as needed by management.
- Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in Accounts Payable.
- Proficiency with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or BlackLine) is highly preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for vendor interactions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines in a high-volume environment.
