Job Overview:
We are seeking a professional who can handle high-volume invoice processing with precision. This role requires excellent communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal departments effectively.
Responsibilities
- Process and verify incoming invoices for accuracy and completeness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Maintain and update the accounts payable ledger and general ledger.
- Prepare and issue payments via check, ACH, or wire transfer.
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and inquiries.
- Assist with month-end close procedures and financial reporting.
- File and organize supporting documentation for audit purposes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a related finance role.
- Proficiency in AP software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to spot errors quickly.
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
