- Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and timely payment
- Manage employee expense reimbursements within daily pay system
- Reconcile AP sub-ledgers and general ledger accounts
- Resolve payment discrepancies and vendor inquiries
- Assist month-end closing procedures for AP department
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for financial records
- Collaborate with procurement and accounting teams on payment cycles
Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounts payable experience required
- Proficiency with QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel
- Experience with daily pay or instant payroll systems
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Texas sales tax compliance
- Proven problem-solving skills with payment exceptions
