Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with precision and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation and posting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and update the general ledger system, including journal entries and accruals.
- Process invoices, verify vendor data, and resolve billing discrepancies.
- Assist the Finance Manager with audits and internal compliance reviews.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents for easy retrieval.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to spot errors in data entry.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables are helpful).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
- Willingness to complete the provided paid training curriculum with a pass rate of 90% or higher.
