Responsibilities
- Process daily accounts payable and receivable transactions with high accuracy.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and balance sheets.
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems for invoices and receipts.
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, including journal entries and expense tracking.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve discrepancies and audit findings.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables) and accounting software (QuickBooks or Sage).
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles (GAAP).
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
