Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and balance sheets.
- Oversee the end-to-end payroll process to ensure employees are paid accurately and on a weekly basis.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monthly financial audits.
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis for business units.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of professional accounting experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
