Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Manage accounts payable/receivable with weekly reconciliation cycles
- Oversee payroll processing with weekly disbursement coordination
- Ensure VAT compliance and tax filing deadlines are met
- Develop and maintain financial models for business forecasting
- Conduct internal audits and process improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with senior leadership on budget planning and cost control
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent accounting certification
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in UK GAAP
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and accounting software (Sage/QuickBooks)
- Proven experience with weekly payroll processing systems
- Strong analytical skills with attention to numerical accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting
- Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
