Responsibilities
- Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and internal reports.
- Assist in the preparation of local, state, and federal tax filings and compliance documentation.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate, up-to-date financial records.
- Process payroll accurately and efficiently, ensuring all withholdings and deductions are correct.
- Utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) to track financial data and generate reports.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in bookkeeping or general accounting (1-3 years preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and cloud-based accounting platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills.
