Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with UK tax regulations and accounting standards
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Assist in budget preparation and variance analysis
- Conduct internal audits and process improvements
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decisions
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Accountant (3+ years)
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA qualification or equivalent
- Expertise in UK GAAP and tax legislation
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
- Proficiency in accounting software (Xero/QuickBooks)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities
