Responsibilities
- Execute weekend month-end closing procedures including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable/receivable processing with 24-hour turnaround
- Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions
- Prepare weekend-specific financial reports for executive review
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal controls
- Coordinate with weekday accounting team for seamless operations
- Support weekend audit preparations and documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel functions
- Strong understanding of GAAP and weekend accounting workflows
- Exceptional attention to detail with error-spotting abilities
- Proven experience with multi-currency transactions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Weekend availability required (Friday-Sunday 8am-5pm)
